Revisit a place you once lived in.

A façade, a door, a table, the view from a window. Your photographs keep fragments of a place that mattered.

We bring them together to rebuild it and walk through it in a film.

Buscastell, Ibiza

A house known long ago, in ruin today. The family images make it possible to rebuild its volumes, its surroundings and its passages. The film offers a way through it again.

02  The method

Memory gives the starting point.

You bring your photographs and describe the place: the rooms, the routes, what stood behind a door or at the end of a path. Together we draw a plan from memory.

If the place still exists, we can go there. If it is gone, the work continues with the photographs, the plans, the maps and whatever archives are available.

A first version is shown to you. You clarify, correct and complete what needs it before the final film.

The film rebuilds the spaces, the materials and the light of the place. It does not carry over the people in the photographs. The camera takes your place.
